A YWAM SF Community Night
FREE EVENT, Doors open at 6:30 pm, Event begins at 7 pm
“The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood.” John 1:14, The Message
Presence, incarnation, relationship…these words are all ways we describe how Jesus lived on earth. What would it look like if we adopted these traits in our own lives? Can living amongst people with different experiences, and engaging intentionally, change lives? How would it change your own life?
Join us for a community panel discussion, hosted by Mark Scandrette, about ways people in San Francisco have taken intentional steps to love neighbors. Hear their stories and the ways these choices changed their lives. Come ready to ask questions and join the conversation!
Our panel host, Mark Scandrette, is the founding director at the ReImagine Center for Living Wisdom in San Francisco, and an internationally recognized specialist in practical spirituality. A sought-after voice for creative, radical, and embodied faith practices, he frequently speaks at universities, churches, and conferences nationally and internationally and also serves as adjunct faculty in the doctoral program at Fuller Theological Seminary. He has written books including The Ninefold Path of Jesus, FREE, Practicing the Way of Jesus, and Belonging and Becoming (with Lisa Scandrette).
Free Event! Doors open at 6:30 pm, and light refreshments are provided. The event begins at 7 pm.
YWAM SF Community Nights allow people of faith to gather and learn about what God is doing in this city. Guest speakers talk about topics surrounding faith, ministry, and loving the city. We host these a few times a year, so if you have a topic or speaker you would like to hear from email us at events@ywamsanfrancisco.org
