Discipleship Training School is a six-month program in which students are immersed in weekly learning alongside continual ministry involvement. Students spend three months in downtown San Francisco, learning from a variety of teachers and working with initiatives of YWAM SF, then three months overseas, where they are plunged into full-time, daily ministry.

The Winter DTS runs from January to June, with an outreach focus on Italy and the Mediterranean. Since 2002, YWAM San Francisco has been committed to sending DTS teams to Rome, Italy. This consistency has allowed for long-term relationships with our contacts in the country and develop a passion and understanding for how God is moving in Italy.
